Dr. Senai AKSOY, Associate Professor, is a leading medical figure who holds the position of Medical Director of the ART Infertility Center. He is also the co-founder of the IVF department at American Hospital. Dr. AKSOY enjoys a worldwide reputation as an experienced expert in infertility and assisted reproductive technologies (ART). In his more than 25 years of practice, he has been instrumental in bringing more than 10,000 babies into the world through IVF.
His impressive academic career began with his graduation from Istanbul College Faculty of Medicine in 1985. To perfect his skills, he continued his education in France at the Université de Franche-Comté, specializing in gynecologyand obstetrics. He has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology with passion since 1993.
Dr. AKSOY has also expanded her expertise with a diploma in gynecological laparoscopic surgery from the College of Clermont-Ferrand and a diploma in gynecological and obstetric ultrasound from the College Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg. His commitment to infertility led him to obtain a diploma in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Université de Paris René Descartes. He then joined the FIVETE team at Sevgi Hospital in Ankara, where he was instrumental in introducing the revolutionary technique of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in Turkey.
In 1995, he became a key member of the founding team of the IVF Center at Istanbul American Hospital. Three years later, in 1998, he took the initiative to establish his own center, marking another milestone in his extraordinary career.
Today, Dr. AKSOY continues to play an important role as a leading member of the medical team at the Istanbul American Hospital IVF Center and runs his own private practice where he applies his unique expertise in the field of medical reproduction.
