Fertility Treatments and Laboratory Services
Clinical care at Draksoy IVF is coordinated through Dr. Senai Aksoy’s independent private practice at Lotus Nişantaşı. Treatment decisions are made by Dr. Aksoy; procedures and embryology services are arranged with appropriately licensed facilities according to the patient’s plan. Lotus Nişantaşı is the building where the consultation practice is located, not a hospital or an IVF laboratory.
Treatments
Not every patient needs every technique. Each card below says what the treatment is for and links to the page that explains it in detail.
IVF and ICSI
Eggs are fertilised in the laboratory, either by placing prepared sperm around them (IVF) or by injecting one sperm into each egg (ICSI). ICSI is used for specific reasons, such as low sperm counts or poor fertilisation in an earlier cycle.

A few cells are taken from the embryo and tested before a possible transfer. PGT-M and PGT-SR look for a known genetic condition; PGT-A counts chromosomes. A result can support a decision but cannot guarantee a pregnancy or a healthy child.

When no sperm are found in the semen, the cause is investigated first, then sperm may be retrieved surgically from the testis and used with ICSI. Dr. Aksoy was a member of the team that performed the first TESE in Turkey.

Embryos can be cultured to day 5 or 6, and some incubators record their development with a camera. Evidence that time-lapse imaging improves live-birth rates is limited, so it is offered as an option rather than as standard.
Embryo freezing and medically indicated egg freezing
Suitable embryos can be frozen for a later transfer. Eggs can be frozen in the medical situations Turkish regulation allows; egg freezing for non-medical reasons is not permitted in Türkiye.
